Overview

Who we are

Slidr is a turnkey electric microtransit company. We provide the vehicles, the drivers, the rider app, the dispatch technology, and the daily operations for on demand electric shuttle programs at universities, hotels, planned communities, and cities.

Slidr is operated by Slidr Rides LLC, based in Boca Raton, Florida. This policy covers www.rideslidr.com, the Slidr rider app, and the tools our employees and clients use. If you have a question about any of it, email info@rideslidr.com.

We try to collect as little as we can, keep it only as long as we need it, and never sell it.

Website

What we collect on this website

Most of this site can be read without telling us anything about yourself. We collect information in three situations.

Contact forms

When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your organization, and whatever you write in the message.

Demo and quote requests

When you ask for a demo, a proposal, or pricing, we collect the same contact details plus what you tell us about your property or campus: the type of site, rough size, the hours you want covered, and your timeline. We use it to price a program and to prepare for the call.

Analytics

Like most websites, we collect basic technical information automatically: pages viewed, time on page, the site or search that sent you here, approximate location from your IP address, and your browser and device type. The tools we use for this are listed under cookies and analytics.

Riders

What we collect from riders

If you ride with Slidr through one of our programs, the rider app collects what it needs to get you a vehicle.

  • Your name, phone number, and email address when you create an account.
  • Your pickup and drop off locations, and your device location while you have a ride open, so the driver can find you and you can watch the vehicle approach.
  • Your trip history: dates, times, pickup and drop off points, and the vehicle used.
  • Ratings, feedback, and any message you send to support about a ride.
  • In programs that verify eligibility, a student, resident, employee, or guest identifier supplied by the client so we can confirm you are entitled to ride.

Most Slidr programs are paid for by the university, hotel, or community rather than by the rider, so in most cases we never see payment card details. Where a program does charge riders directly, payments are handled by a payment processor and Slidr does not store full card numbers.

Clients

What we collect from clients

Clients are the universities, hotels, communities, and cities that run a Slidr program. From client staff we collect business contact details: name, title, work email, work phone, and the organization you represent.

We also hold the operating data your program produces, such as ride counts, service hours, routes, wait times, and vehicle utilization. We report that back to you, and we use it in aggregate and de-identified form to improve how we plan and run service generally. When we publish figures publicly, they are aggregated or used with the client's permission.

People

What we collect from employees and job applicants

If you apply to work at Slidr, we collect what you send us and what the hiring process requires: your name, contact details, work history, availability, and anything else in your application or interview notes.

If you are hired as a Slidr driver or staff member, we collect what an employer has to collect in order to employ you legally and put you behind the wheel safely. That includes your identity and tax documents, your driver license and driving record, the results of a background check run through our screening provider, emergency contact details, your availability and schedule, your time records, and your pay and benefits information.

Employees use a Slidr employee portal to see schedules, claim open shifts, request time off, and upload required documents. Activity in that portal is tied to your employee account. Background checks are performed by a third party screening provider, and the information you give that provider is governed by their own notices and your written authorization.

Purpose

How we use the information

  • To run the service: dispatch vehicles, route drivers, confirm eligibility, and get riders where they are going.
  • To answer you when you contact us, and to price and scope a program you have asked about.
  • To report to the client that pays for the program, using ride counts and service metrics.
  • To keep people safe: investigate incidents, respond to complaints, and hold a vehicle out of service when something is wrong with it.
  • To employ our team: schedule shifts, pay people, and meet our obligations as an employer.
  • To improve the service and the website, using analytics about what people look at and where things break.
  • To send you things you asked for, such as a proposal, a newsletter you subscribed to, or the text messages you opted in to.
  • To meet legal, tax, insurance, and safety requirements, and to defend legal claims.

We share information with service providers who work on our behalf, such as our hosting, email, analytics, background check, scheduling, and payment vendors, and they are only allowed to use it to do that work for us. We share program data with the client that sponsors your program. We share information when the law requires it, and we may transfer information if the business is sold or reorganized.

Commitment

We do not sell personal information

Slidr does not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. The only sharing that happens is the sharing described above: vendors who run part of the service for us, the client that sponsors a program, and disclosures the law requires.

Cookies

Cookies and analytics tools

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site working, and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works if you do, though some things may be less convenient.

These are the measurement and advertising tools currently running on www.rideslidr.com.

  • Google Analytics for traffic and page performance. We turn on IP anonymization.
  • Microsoft Clarity for aggregated heatmaps and session replay, which shows us where pages confuse people.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure LinkedIn campaigns and reach similar professional audiences.
  • Meta Pixel to measure Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
  • RB2B to identify the company a business visitor is browsing from, so our team can follow up on genuine inbound interest.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure page performance without cookies. Most browsers offer a Do Not Track or global privacy control signal, and the advertising tools above honor the opt outs their own platforms provide.

SMS

Text messaging

Text messaging. If you provide a mobile number to Slidr and agree to receive text messages, we use that number only to send the messages you agreed to, such as work schedule and safety notifications for employees. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and get help by replying HELP or emailing info@rideslidr.com.

Retention

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we have a reason to.

  • Website enquiries and demo requests: up to three years from your last contact with us, so we can pick up the conversation where it left off.
  • Rider accounts and trip history: for as long as your account is active, and up to two years after a program ends or your account is closed.
  • Client program records: for the life of the contract and then as long as our tax, insurance, and audit obligations require, normally seven years.
  • Job applications that do not lead to a hire: up to two years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Employment records: for the length of employment and then the period employment, tax, and safety law requires.
  • Analytics data: retained on the schedules set by the tools listed above, typically fourteen months or less.

When a retention period ends, we delete the information or strip the parts that identify you.

Your choices

How to see, correct, or delete your information

Email info@rideslidr.com and tell us what you want. You can ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop sending you marketing email, which you can also do with the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Stop sending you text messages, which you can also do by replying STOP.

We will confirm we received your request, ask you for enough information to be sure it is really you, and answer within forty five days. There is no charge. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If your Slidr account was created through a university, hotel, or community program, some of your information belongs to that client as well, and we may need to refer part of your request to them. We will tell you if that happens.

Slidr operates in the United States and stores information here. Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. The version you are reading was last updated September 14, 2026.
