    Catawba College's Electric Rideshare Is All the Buzz

    Catawba College's CatawbaGO program, powered by Slidr, is highlighted as a model for electric-first campus mobility in North Carolina. The program provides free electric rideshare to students, faculty, and staff and supports the state's broader EV adoption goals.

    Naples Press

    Naples seeks quick, eco-friendly downtown EV shuttle service

    To reduce traffic, emissions and parked vehicles, the City of Naples is considering a free, electric micro-transit service to shuttle employees, shoppers and tourists to the downtown Community Redevelopment District. Naples-based Slidr Rides App already provides a free on-demand eco-friendly shuttle, and CEO Mike Trombino told the CRA Advisory Board the service moved over 80,000 people across more than 40,000 rides during the most recent season, with wait times under 10 minutes.

    City of Oberlin Launches Free Electric Bus Service

    The City of Oberlin partnered with Slidr to create the EBus, a free electric bus service that travels a fixed route through the city and surrounding areas from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. The service is ADA accessible and available to both students and residents, with funding split between the City of Oberlin and Lorain County Transit.

    UNA introduces Slidr cars

    UNA Transportation introduced Slidr as its new means of transport on and off campus, replacing the decades-old purple bus system. Operating like Uber and Lyft, Slidr picks up and drops off students within a pre-designated area. Vehicles available for student use are Teslas rented out by Slidr with drivers provided.

    University of North Alabama introduces new environment friendly form of transportation for students

    The University of North Alabama partnered with Slidr, an urban mobility company that specializes in electric transportation, to offer students a free fixed route and on-demand service. The fixed-route service operates weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. connecting key campus locations, with on-demand service available evenings and Saturdays.

    Auburn Tigers Athletics

    New shuttle service available near Jordan-Hare Stadium

    Auburn Athletics partnered with Slidr to offer a football game day shuttle service throughout the areas adjacent to Jordan-Hare Stadium. Fare is $3 per person, and service begins three hours prior to kickoff. Each Slidr vehicle is a five-passenger, low-speed vehicle that meets all required safety standards. Slidr, based out of Boca Raton, Fla., is the only provider with access through the game day barricades.
