How CatawbaGO Works
CatawbaGO connects Catawba College students, faculty, and the broader Salisbury community to academic facilities, downtown Salisbury, and local destinations. The program operates on-demand during off-peak hours and switches to fixed routes during high-traffic periods, giving riders the flexibility they need without the wait times of traditional campus transit.
The fleet is 100% electric, built around Volkswagen ID. Buzz vehicles that operate quietly across campus and through Salisbury's historic downtown district, with zero tailpipe emissions and lower operational costs than diesel shuttles.
