Frequently Asked Questions

E-bike share FAQ

What is a managed e-bike share program?

A managed e-bike share program provides a fleet of electric bikes with docking stations available for short-term use by residents, guests, or the public. Slidr handles everything, the bikes, docking infrastructure, charging, maintenance, rider app, and daily operations, under one contract.

Can non-residents or non-guests pay to use the bikes?

Yes. Programs are typically set up so that residents or guests ride free or at a discounted rate, while outside users pay per ride or via a day/week pass through the app. This creates a revenue stream that can offset program costs.

How is an e-bike share program funded?

Funding varies by program type. HOA and CDD programs are typically funded through assessments or developer contributions. Resort and hotel programs may be included in an amenity budget. Non-resident ride revenue and local business sponsorships can reduce or offset operating costs.

Where does Slidr operate e-bike programs?

Slidr operates e-bike share programs in planned communities, resorts, and mixed-use developments. Tradition in Port St. Lucie, FL is an active deployment. We are expanding to additional communities across Florida and the Southeast.

What type of e-bikes does Slidr use?

Slidr uses pedal-assist electric bikes suited for community and resort environments, durable, comfortable, and easy to ride for a wide range of users. Bikes are configured for the terrain and speed limits of each specific service area.
